This French-Reneker-Associates design included constructing a dam to create a 260-acre lake. Surface water management techniques to control erosion throughout the site were also included in the project. Erosion control features included let down structures, riprap for bank protection, terraces, vegetated strips, drainage tile, and critical area seeding. The seeding was protected with mulching or wood excelsior matting. The project also included development of a 13.7-acre wetland at the upper end of the lake for wetland mitigation.
